Emergency Information

Emergency Information

The Chicago School is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all community members.

Reporting an Incident

Crimes in progress and crimes that have just occurred should be reported to law enforcement by dialing 911. More information is available here.

If you witness an incident or are the victim of a crime on or around campus, please report it using this form or email [email protected].

Emergency Notification System

The Chicago School’s Emergency Notification System is called TCSalert. TCSalert is an email and text message (SMS) notification system utilized by The Chicago School to alert the campus community in emergency and/or potentially life-threatening situations. TCSalert may also be used for time-sensitive messaging. Designated administrators at each campus have the ability to create notifications that can be delivered via email and/or text message.

Email messages

All email addresses from The Chicago School are automatically enrolled in the notification system. There is no opt-in or opt-out function as related to a school-provided email account. You may add an additional email address to the notification system if desired.

Text messages

Members of the school community may opt-in their mobile phone number so alerts can be delivered via text. Rave Mobility does not charge subscribers to receive SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply. Please refer to your mobile phone contract for more information.

Once registered, participants may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by texting STOP to 67283 or 226787.

Please note: TCSalert will not be used in the event of individual class cancellations or as a reminder service.
